Albert and Cora had no children.
Albert was 23 and decided to join the army in 1937 when things were
boiling in Europe. He went to visit Uncle Charlie before leaving and was
taken to meet Paul for the first time. Paul wa s17 at the time and they still
talk about the happy surprise.
Albert sepnt his 3 years enlistment being discharged in December of 1940.
n the meantime Horace joined the army, too, but the war came along and he
didn't get home till after D-Day in 1945. They were building the Kingsbury
Ordnance Plant when Albert came home and he started working there as a security
guard in Jan of 1941.
