This child was born and lived a short while, was what they called a "Blue Baby." Granma and mom said that when she died they cleaned and dressed her to prepare her for burial in the bathroom, the house at 1527 Monroe St., Omaha, NE. Grandpa and some family helped but Grandma was so sick she did not. Baby Goldie is registered as being born in the old cemetery at the end of Harrison St. in old town ALBRIGHT, now just a part of the community with little left to say was any town. I do remember several stores and a couple of bars when I was a kid and there are still a few buildings there that are being used as either a house or apartment, etc. There is no stone for baby Goldie, also is buried next to Pert's daughter that also died about the same time and layed next to each other, neither having a stone.

Gordon was divorced and remarried. The girls were with their mother. By
Janet Hiatt Stivers.
I spoke with Gordon, found him by luck as I was calling and looking for information concerning the HIATT family in Idaho Falls, ID. on this date of 16 Feb 2000. He informed me that all his brothers are now deceased and his sisters that I had known, Eva, Gwen and Vera. He will get together with me soon, had a great time taling over an hour with him. He is in his mid seventies now. Larry Anderson
