Sent by Doris Travis. Received an email from Cynthia Kazman BOWLBY, 44 Depot St., Sharon, MA 02067 Tel 781-784-7104.
All of this comes from Raymond Edwin Bolby's book, in the 1993 publication, BOWLBY FAMILIES IN ENGLAND and AMERICA, Vol. I, part 2, pg. 23
Hannah E. BOWSLBY (12th Generation from Rychard and Alison Bolbie, early 1500's) was the second daughter of Wilson P. S. and Rosannah (Helms) BOWLSBY, born in Madison Co., IA, about 1855. She was listed as living with her uncle William H. BOWLSBY as well as living with Emmanuel and Mary SULGROVE of Douglas Co., Township, in teh Madison Co., IA, Census of 1870. In both places she was listed as being eighteen, but was probably only fifteen. Hannah E. Bowlsey married S. T. HIATT on 28 Dec 1874..... Thank you "very" much Cynthia Katzman Bowlby
